Cantonment Fall Events 2026: Your Guide to Local Outings

October 8, 2026

"The Cantonment Arts & Crafts Festival is always held on the second Saturday of October." That line sits on the Pine Forest Assembly of God website, and it works as a rule for the rest of the season too. This year the second Saturday falls on October 10. That date opens Cantonment's own fall calendar.

On paper, fall around here looks like it belongs to the big draws: the Pensacola Interstate Fair on Mobile Highway and the corn mazes across the river in Milton. Those are good outings, and they all charge admission. The events hosted in and right around Cantonment work on a different budget. A church parking lot, an elementary school, the county's demonstration gardens and a family farm in Molino host most of them. Nearly every one is free or costs less than one ride wristband at the fair.

October 10, two addresses, one morning

The 12th Annual Cantonment Arts & Crafts Festival runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 10. The host is Pine Forest Assembly of God at 3125 Pine Forest Road in Cantonment. The church says recent shows have had more than 60 vendors and 400 to 500 attendees. That's a small enough crowd to walk the whole thing in a morning and still be home for lunch. The church's page doesn't list an admission price.

At 9 a.m. the same morning, UF/IFAS Extension Escambia County Master Gardener volunteers open the Extension Demonstration Gardens at 3740 Stefani Road for a free Fall Garden Open House. The county's listing names exhibits on pollinator gardens, native wildlife plants, fall edibles and general garden color. Volunteers are also giving away fall edibles and ornamental gingers, and perennials are available for a suggested donation. The listing gives no end time. If you want the plant giveaway, go early and do the crafts festival after. Questions go to Beth at 850-475-5230.

Two more free events fall on October 10:

  • The Escambia County Equestrian Center at 7750 Mobile Highway lists a free community event with free groceries, lunch, clothes, children's activities and other resources. The county calendar doesn't list hours.
  • First City Art Center's 20th annual Glass & Ceramic Pumpkin Patch has free general admission from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1060 N. Guillemard Street in Pensacola. Pumpkins start at $20. A ticketed preview the night before costs $45 for members and $50 for nonmembers.

All four events on the second Saturday are open without a ticket. Only the pumpkins and the perennials cost money, and the perennials are by donation.

The rest of the hometown calendar, in order

After October 10, the local events spread out across the next six weeks. They follow the same pattern: each one is run by a familiar local institution, and each costs little or nothing.

  1. Saturday, October 31: Pine Forest Assembly Fall Festival. It runs 6 to 8 p.m. at 3125 Pine Forest Road. The church lists it as free, with games, inflatables, food and candy.
  2. Friday, November 6: Jim Allen Elementary School Carnival. It runs 3 to 6 p.m., and wristbands cost $10. This is the rescheduled date. The carnival was originally set for the first Friday in October and was moved because of a rainy, stormy forecast, NorthEscambia.com reported September 30. Wristbands go on sale November 2 through 5, and any wristbands already sold will be honored.
  3. Friday, November 13: Free Movie Night at the Escambia County Equestrian Center. The county calendar lists admission, parking and food as free. The movie and start time are still listed as TBA, so check the listing again closer to the date.
  4. Saturday, November 21: Panzik Acres LLC Fall Market on the Farm, Molino. It runs 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 5675 Highway 95A North. Admission is $5, and children under 3 get in free. The day includes a petting farm, vendors, food, a bounce house, pony rides and face painting.

The Equestrian Center also has a free Community Trunk or Treat in its covered arena on Tuesday, October 27, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., with free admission and parking. Because it's under a roof, it's the one Halloween-week event on this list that doesn't depend on the weather.

If you've heard about Beulah Bash, the county's Equestrian Center calendar lists it for November 13. Marcus Pointe Baptist Church, which hosts the event, lists it on its own page for Saturday, December 12, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Go by the host's date.

What the ticketed outings cost by comparison

The local events look cheap mainly because of what the bigger outings charge. Here are the posted 2026 prices for the regional fall events within a reasonable drive:

Event Dates Where Posted 2026 price
Pensacola Interstate Fair Oct. 22 to Nov. 1 6655 Mobile Highway $8.28 adult, $3.87 child ages 4 to 11, $33.05 any-day unlimited ride wristband, advance pricing
Holland Farms pumpkin patch and corn maze Sept. 26 to Nov. 1, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily 2055 Homer Holland Road, Milton $16.64 general admission, $18.72 with a pumpkin
Sweet Season Farms Sept. 26 to Nov. 8 2260 Horn Road, Milton $18.50 plus tax Whole Cob, $17 plus tax limited Half Cob, pumpkins extra
Jim Allen Elementary Carnival Nov. 6, 3 to 6 p.m. Cantonment $10 wristband
Panzik Acres Fall Market Nov. 21, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. 5675 Highway 95A North, Molino $5, under 3 free

Look at the fair's ride wristband. At $33.05, it costs more than three Jim Allen carnival wristbands or six adult admissions to the Panzik Acres market. Holland Farms' ticketing page shows the rounded figures of $16 and $18, so confirm the price when you buy. Sweet Season Farms is open Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with last tickets at 4. It also has two Friday night events, October 23 and 30, from 6 to 10 p.m.

There's one free option across the river. Bands on the Blackwater has free Friday concerts with vendors from 7 to 9 p.m. at Jernigan's Landing, 5158 Willing Street in Milton, and the season ends October 30.

Where the two calendars collide

Because the local and regional calendars were set separately, several dates overlap, and that's where the planning matters.

Halloween weekend is the most crowded. Pine Forest Assembly's free Fall Festival runs Saturday night, October 31, which is the second-to-last day of the Interstate Fair. Holland Farms closes the next day, November 1. If you want a corn maze and a ride on the midway, that last weekend of October is your last chance for both at once. The church festival only runs from 6 to 8 p.m., so you can fit a daytime trip to the fair or the farm before it.

The rescheduled Jim Allen carnival on Friday, November 6 now falls on the opening day of the Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival in Historic Seville Square. The arts festival runs November 6 and 7 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and November 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The carnival runs 3 to 6 p.m. on a Friday, so families with children at the school can do the carnival Friday and still have all of Saturday for Seville Square.

Sweet Season Farms stays open through November 8, a week after the fair and Holland Farms close. That makes it the only corn maze listed here that's still open on the weekend of the Jim Allen carnival.

From there, Cantonment's November ends on a farm in Molino. Panzik Acres opens its gate at 11 a.m. on November 21 for $5 a person, and children under 3 get in free.
